You’re hired!  Get in on Apprentice action!

So we’ve looked at a number of issues around hiring young people. But what are the real ways your business could benefit.

Well, the benefits are numerous….
It can be a cost-effective way of training new staff. You can mould people to the needs of your organisation and grow your own talent. It provides development opportunities for existing staff and young people can bring new ideas and skills into the company. And these are just some of the benefits in recruiting apprentices.
We’d like to know what your experiences have been?  Do you have any positive or negative experiences of employing young Apprentices? We can use the feedback to continually improve our services and support to employers.

Over the last 4 years Connexions Nottinghamshire has recruited 8 apprentices and all but 2 are still with the company. On the whole it’s been a really positive experience, even though it’s not been without its challenges.
