A wizard choice as Emma charms her way to top poll

A recent poll carried out by http://www.bttradespace.com named Emma Watson as the young person small businesses would most want to employ as an Apprentice.

Emma, who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter films, topped the poll with 45%, with savvy business woman and pop starlet, Cheryl Cole, trailing behind in second place with 29%.

Businesses were given the choice of 6 celebrities and the overall the were ranked at:
Emma Watson - 45%
Cheryl Cole - 29%
Tom Daley - 10%
Lewis Hamilton - 10%
Lily Allen - 3%
Andy Murray - 3%

So is there dark magic at work or does Emma possess the perfect combination of character, skills and determination that makes a truly great Apprentice?

Ivan Croxford, head of the business social networking website, said: “Emma Watson has got where she is through a mixture of talent, dedication and hard work - exactly the sort of characteristics which make for a good apprentice.

“She refused to give up her studies despite the lure of fame and fortune and has always kept her feet firmly on the ground and is known for her professional manner.

Is Emma’s personality and character a good example of what businesses value in an Apprentice?  What traits, experience and personal skills do you look for when you’re recruiting?
