Redundancy can be a difficult ordeal, hitting hard both financially and emotionally. Looking for the right kind of help can also be daunting and confusing and with the economy reportedly still in melt down, redundancy is a worry on many people’s mind.
But help is at hand. Guideline Career Services is the sister company of Connexions Nottinghamshire, and provides advice and support to organisations allowing them to access effective training and development for all staff. In the current economic climate, Guideline has been funded to offer FREE outplacement support to companies with staff being made redundant or under the threat of redundancy.
This comprises of group and individual sessions, which are tailored to the needs of the company and employees, and is delivered on site at flexible times to accommodate all staff. Presently the company is working with large organisations such as Courtaulds, Nottingham City Council, Boots, Virgin Media, and a wide range of small and medium sized companies.

Connexions Nottinghamshire is the guidance service for all young people, who are aged 13 to 19 years in Nottinghamshire. Connexions Personal Advisers based in schools, colleges, youth centres and high street drop in 'one stop shops' offer young people advice on a range of subjects from careers, jobs and education to health, money and housing.
Connexions Nottinghamshire also offers a FREE recruitment service to employers who want to include 16-19 year olds in their recruitment.
