At this time of year, Connexions Nottinghamshire normally contacts employers about their plans for 2009 apprentice and trainee recruitment. Due to the current economic climate, we realise that recruitment may not currently be a priority for many businesses.

Despite economic conditions, some of you will still be needing to fill vacant positions so perhaps it's time to think about recruiting a young person you can train up.  If you have plans to recruit apprentices or trainees to start this Summer then you should be aware that Connexions Nottinghamshire offers a FREE recruitment service.

We advertise vacancies on the Summer Starts section of our ‘Vacancies Online’ website at cnxnotts.co.uk and in Connexions centres, schools and colleges across Nottinghamshire. The service is totally free and our only requirement is that all the vacancies on the Summer Starts section will either have apprenticeship training or a recognised company training programme. Immediate jobs with or without training can be advertised on the Immediate Jobs section of the website.
